England: Rich countries must free up grain reserves to fight growing hunger

Pak Sahafat – British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak asked rich countries with developed agriculture to release grain reserves to fight the growing problem of hunger in the world.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Sonak said in an article published on the Daily Telegraph website: I support UN Secretary-General António Guterres to ensure the transportation of grain across the Black Sea, and I urge all countries that can produce more food or release stocks to do so to help increase supplies.

Regarding the situation in Ukraine, he noted that Britain and its allies will not let their economic future be held hostage by dependence on certain materials, including hydrocarbons, from countries like Russia.

Referring to the G20 meeting, Sunak said that as a result of the events in Ukraine, two-thirds of the G20 members have an inflation rate above 7%.

The G20 summit will be held in Bali from November 15 to 16.
