Clinton: Trump’s return to the White House is the end of American democracy

Pak Sahafat – Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that Donald Trump’s return to the White House is the end of democracy in the United States.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from TASS, in an interview with the British newspaper Financial Times, Clinton, who was the US Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013, added: If Trump wins [the presidential election] in 2024, and I don’t think he will, it will be the end of democracy in the United States and also the end of Ukraine, and it will take us out of NATO.

He acknowledged that the 80-year-old Joe Biden, who will run for the second term, is a problem and Americans have the right to be concerned about this.

At the same time, Clinton wanted to compare the current American leader not with unattainable ideals, but with an alternative in the person of Trump.

He also said in this interview that the outbreak of conflict in Ukraine forced Beijing to postpone its plans for Taiwan.

Before the Ukraine war, Clinton continued, he believed that Chinese President Xi Jinping would try to resolve the issue of reunification of the Chinese mainland with Taiwan within the next three to four years.

The former US Secretary of State said: I think that Ukraine has delayed this moment. What happened in this country, from my point of view, has seriously affected the leadership of China.
