Clinton: The stick and carrot policy works against Saudi Arabia

The former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton criticized Saudi Arabia for not cooperating with Washington in putting pressure on Russia, saying that Riyadh should be threatened.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, Former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she and her country had criticized Saudi Arabia for not cooperating with Washington in imposing sanctions on Russia and pressure on Moscow after the invasion of Ukraine.

In response to a question about Saudi Arabia’s opposition to increasing oil production in order to reduce its price, Clinton said last night on the NBC program: “I am just happy to be free. Because I consider it short-term and it does not benefit anyone, not even them (the Saudis).”
