Chomsky’s warning about the danger of nuclear war in the world

Pak Sahafat – Noam Chomsky, a prominent American thinker, linguist and political critic, said that the danger of nuclear war and neglect of the environment will bring the world down, but the governments are not doing anything to solve these challenges.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing Rasha Todi, in an interview on Saturday, Chomsky did not consider the situation of the world and the environment to be favorable due to the issues of war and increasing nuclear risk and said: The increase in the risk of nuclear war and the indifference of countries to the environmental challenge have pushed the world towards the abyss.

In response to the question whether humanity can lead itself to self-destruction, he added: In recent years, the clock of humanity approaching Armageddon (the so-called final battle of right and wrong in the apocalypse) and extinction has come closer to midnight, and this clock of extinction can even happen in a few days.

Chomsky: America is a threat to world peace and its citizens

According to this American philosopher, humanity’s main concerns are the “increasing danger of nuclear war” and “the very severe and increasing threat of climate destruction.” He said that governments are not doing anything to solve these problems.

Chomsky’s comments came after Dmitry Medvedev, a deputy in Russia’s Security Council and former president, said earlier this week that those who want to see Moscow defeated in Ukraine are ignoring the fact that the loss of a nuclear power is possible.

Moscow believes that the Ukraine conflict is a proxy war waged by the United States and its allies against the country.

Russia has repeatedly said that a nuclear war should never be waged, because its military doctrine allows the use of nuclear weapons only if the existence of the country is threatened.
