Pak Sahafat – Chinese President Xi Jinping presented a three-part initiative to solve the Palestinian issue as the oldest crisis in the Middle East during his meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Beijing and said: The basic solution is the formation of an independent Palestinian state with full national sovereignty based on the 1967 borders with Jerusalem as its capital.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing the Twitter page of Ms. Hua Chunying, Assistant Foreign Minister and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Xi Jinping, in today’s meeting with Mahmoud Abbas, announced the existence of a strategic partnership between Palestine and China, referring to a three-point plan to resolve the Palestinian issue.
First: the basic solution to the Palestinian issue is the formation of an independent Palestinian state with full national sovereignty based on the borders of 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital.
Xi emphasized: The Palestinian issue, which has remained unresolved for more than half a century, has caused great suffering to the people of this land, and justice must be established for the Palestinian people as soon as possible.

He said that China is ready to play a positive role in realizing the process of peace negotiations.
Second: the economy and living conditions of the Palestinian people should be taken into consideration and the international community should take serious steps in providing humanitarian support to the Palestinian people.
Third: the process of Middle East peace negotiations should be on the right track. A comprehensive, effective and inclusive international peace conference should be held to provide the necessary conditions for the resumption of peace talks and to make tangible efforts to help the Palestinian people and provide them with peace and tranquility.
Mahmoud Abbas also said in this meeting that the Palestinian side appreciates the constructive role of China’s mediation between Iran and Saudi Arabia, as well as Beijing’s initiatives to find a just solution to the Palestinian issue in the near future.
Abbas said that Palestine believes in the rationality and positions of China and is willing to see China play a greater role in establishing and strengthening peace in the region.
