Arab people march on World Al-Quds Day in support of Palestine

Pak Sahafat – The people of the Arab countries marched on the International Day of World Al-Quds, condemning the solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and condemning the crimes of the occupying Israeli regime.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency from the Arab media in the region, People in Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen, Bahrain, Syria and Palestine marched on World Al-Quds Day on Friday, along with other parts of the world.

The Iraqi people in Baghdad, with a large attendance at the World Al-Quds Day march, expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people and stressed the need to strengthen the axis of resistance and confront the crimes of the occupying regime in Jerusalem until the end of the occupation in the Palestinian territories.

Al-Maluma news website reported that Basra and a number of other Iraqi provinces witnessed mass rallies and demonstrations by people and forces of Al-Hashd al-Shabi and its supporters on the occasion of World Quds Day.

In Kuwait, the World Al-Quds Day ceremony was held on Friday at the invitation of our country’s embassy in one of the great halls of this country.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of political, cultural and social figures, Muslim and Christian scholars and clerics, the president and members of the Iran-Kuwait Friendship Association, ambassadors of Islamic and foreign countries, a number of Palestinian figures and elites of Iranian society living in Kuwait.

The ambassador of our country in Kuwait delivered a speech in this parliament and said: The support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the oppressed people of Palestine is not a short-term and tactical policy, but it is linked to the principles and foundations of the Islamic Revolution and is rooted in our religious and humanitarian beliefs.

“Mohammad Irani” added: Undoubtedly, the issue of Palestine is the first issue of the Islamic world and the axis of the unity of the Islamic Ummah, and with this view, the Zionist regime is the first problem and the main problem of the Islamic world and the first enemy of the Islamic Ummah.

World Al-Quds Day was also held in Lebanon with the participation of the people, politicians and representatives of the Palestinian factions and Lebanese parties in the tropical region of Sidon.

Mahmoud Qamati, a member of the Lebanese Hezbollah Political Council, stressed at the ceremony that this is a time of victory and the liberation of Palestine.

He added: The axis of resistance has grown and expanded and has appeared in countries and liberation movements and is in its strongest states and will be victorious on the field and impose its conditions.

A member of the Lebanese Hezbollah Political Council stated: The Arab countries that rushed to normalize and surrender are the countries that conspire against Palestine and its people.

The Syrian capital, Damascus, also witnessed a large-scale march on Friday to mark World Al-Quds Day, with participants marching from the entrance of Hamidiyeh Bazaar to the Umayyad Mosque in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance to Zionist attacks.

“Khaled Abdul Majid,” the secretary general of the Palestinian People’s Struggle Front, said in the march that Al-Quds will remain the axis and compass of the national, religious and liberation struggles, and today the axis of resistance is closer than ever.

He added: The connection and integration in the work and role of the resistance gave renewed hope to the Palestinian people and the fighters of the Palestinian resistance factions to continue the resistance approach to confront the Zionist regime.

The people of Bahrain also took to the streets in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the capital Manama on Friday, coinciding with the International Day of Al-Quds.

According to the Al-Ahd website, hundreds of Bahrainis took to the streets at night in large-scale rallies to commemorate World Al-Quds Day, chanting slogans in support of the Palestinian cause and rejecting the normalization of Al-Khalifa relations with the Zionist enemy.

According to the report, the demonstrations in Bahrain were more than one region and city, and the residents of “Balad Qadim”, “Abu Siba” and “Karbabad” emphasized in these demonstrations that they will not abandon the option of resisting and supporting the Palestinian cause.

Bahrainis who took part in the marches said that the Bahraini people and every part of their country are free from compromise with the Zionist regime and betrayal of the Palestinian people, and that they and the Palestinian people have a common enemy called Israel.

Also, tens of thousands of fasting Palestinians entered Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday, the International Day of Quds, to perform the last Friday prayers of the holy month of Ramadan.

The media reported that Tens of thousands of Palestinian worshipers entered the Al-Aqsa Holy Mosque to attend the last Friday prayer of Ramadan amid tight security by the Zionist military and the occupiers’ extensive restrictions, and held the last Friday prayer of Ramadan at the holy site.
