Pak Sahafat – The head of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher Ray, said on Thursday at the hearing of the House of Representatives Appropriations Committee that the number of Chinese hackers is at least 50 times greater than the personnel of the FBI’s cyberspace department.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Fox News, the head of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation, who tried to explain the threats caused by China’s cyber-attacks on America’s sensitive infrastructure, added: China has stolen the information of American individuals and legal entities more than any other country.
Ray said: The Chinese hacking program is bigger than any other important country and they have stolen the information of large and small American individuals and legal entities more than any other country.

The FBI director added: “In order for you to have a proper understanding of the danger we face, suffice it to say that if every single one of our FBI cyber agents and intelligence experts focused solely on the threats from China – nothing but China – there would still be the number of Chinese hackers at least 50 times the personnel of the FBI’s cyber department.
He pointed out: Today’s cyber threats are more pervasive and attack a wider range of targets and are more likely to cause damage than in the past.
In another part of this meeting, the head of the FBI said: China’s cyber threats are incomparable, but China is not the only country that is a challenge to America in the cyber space, and we are also the target of cyber threats from other countries such as Russia, North Korea, etc.
By proposing these materials, Christopher Ray tried to get the approval of the members of the US House of Representatives’ budget allocation committee to increase the budget of the FBI’s cyber department.
