American imaginary show of power to compensate for serial failures in West Asia

Pak Sahafat – An unnamed American official told reporters; The F-16 fighter jets are to be sent to the Persian Gulf region and reinforce the US attack fighters that are on patrol.

America says that it intends to deploy more fighters around the strategic Strait of Hormuz to protect ships from possible seizure by Iran!

An unnamed American official told reporters; The F-16 fighter jets are to be sent to the Persian Gulf region and reinforce the US attack fighters that are on patrol.

Of course, these claims have precedent, as John Kirby, the spokesperson of the American National Security Council, announced recently that the United States plans to send auxiliary forces to the region to strengthen the country’s defense position in the Persian Gulf and to counter Iran’s attack on oil vessels.

Before him, General Brad Cooper, commander of the US Fifth Fleet, announced that he needed 100 unmanned aerial vehicles to form a patrol unit in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea.

With this explanation; the symmetry of the recent claim with the approval of the Pentagon’s $886 billion budget in the US House of Representatives should be considered as one of America’s excuses to force Congress to approve the said military budget.

On the other hand; While America considers itself committed to the security of the Zionist regime, due to the critical situation of this regime, even Biden does not have the courage to meet with Netanyahu, therefore, by raising issues like this, and it seeks to divert public opinion from the developments in the occupied territories.

On the other hand; The symmetry of the recent claim with the tweet of “Abram Paley”, the successor of “Robert Mali”, who wrote; “The office of the US special representative for Iran affairs and all the members of the group in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are still involved in the implementation of our policy towards Iran” should be seen as a repetition of the same double policy which, on the one hand, seeks to condition Iran’s economy and, on the other hand, set the table for “negotiation under pressure” with the aim of making Iran succumb to the excesses of the United States.

In such a situation, the Americans are looking for an apparent display of authority by claiming to send F-16s to the region in order to slow down the process of regional convergence without the involvement of the United States.

In other words; America’s recent claim should be seen as a result of this country’s fear of the new world order, which is taking shape regardless of American unilateralism, and a significant part of it is taking shape in West Asia centered on Iran.
