Algerian Foreign Minister addresses Macron: Africa is the cradle of humanity and the graveyard of occupation

During his visit to Mali, the Algerian Foreign Minister addressed the President of France, reminded him of the position of African countries and, ironically emphasizing French colonialism, emphasized that Africa is a graveyard of occupation.

According to the International Group of Pak Sahafat News agency, during a visit to the Mali capital, Bamako, Algerian Foreign Minister Ramatan Lamara reacted to the escalation of tensions between Paris and Algeria and recent remarks by French President Emmanuel Macron.

In an interview with the financial media, he stated: “I want to remind those who want to hear us that Africa is the cradle of humanity and the graveyard of occupation.”

According to Russia Today, Lamara further called on the French authorities to respect African countries unconditionally and to accept equal participation with the African continent.

The remarks come as relations between Paris and Algeria, on the one hand, and Mali, on the other, has been strained in recent days. Mali summoned the French ambassador last Tuesday to protest Macron’s recent remarks. What Algeria had done a few days earlier.

“The legitimacy of the current fiscal government is democratically invalid,” Macron recently criticized Algeria’s “tough political-military regime.”

He also referred to the history of France in Algeria, claiming that he intended to rewrite the history of Algeria in Arabic and Amazigh in order to expose the actions of the Turks in rewriting and distorting history.

Before the French colonization, the Algerian nation did not exist and they were transferred from the Ottoman colonization to other colonization.

Following the remarks and the escalation of tensions between Algeria and France, Algerian President Abdel Majid Taboun, who has repeatedly warned of a conspiracy against his country for opposing the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime and countering conspiracies against the Arab world, was ordered to close on Sunday. It exported French airspace to French military aircraft.

The passage of French military aircraft to the African coast via Algerian airspace was a privilege granted to France during the presidency of former President Abdulaziz Bouteflika and has continued until then until its abolition by order of Tabon. But Algeria’s new decision will have a major impact on French military operations and will correct the former president’s strategic mistake, which is expected to lead to a slowdown in French-Algerian military cooperation in the coming weeks.

Algerian Prime Minister Ayman bin Abdel Rahman also said on Monday, referring to recent remarks by the French president: These insulting words against Algeria are unacceptable and rejected. Algeria is bigger than all the statements made to undermine its history and roots.

He clarified: Algeria is a nation that stands out and shines in history … Ask Massinisa and Prince Abdul Qadir about the history of this land (referring to the historical figures of Algeria over the centuries).

Algeria was under French colonization for 132 years. The country has repeatedly apologized to Paris for crimes against humanity during the colonial era; a wish that never came true. Incumbent French President Emmanuel Macron, who had previously admitted to establishing a system of torture during Algerian colonial rule, says he rejects any apology for Algerian atrocities during the occupation and never apologize the French occupation of Algeria in the twentieth century.
