Pak Sahafat – The family of Al Jazeera reporter Shirin Abu Aqla, who was killed by the Zionist regime’s soldiers a few months ago, demanded justice and a transparent investigation into her murder.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Antwan Abu Aqleh Brother of Shirin told Al Jazeera Qatar: We have once again announced our request to Washington to conduct an investigation and we are against any closure of this case.
He, who along with other members of this assassinated journalist, met with US Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken, added, “We also asked for a communication network with the US Foreign Ministry to get information about the results of the investigation into the killing of Shirin.
Russian Sputnik reporter also quoted Lina Abu Aqla; Shirin’s niece reported that the journalist’s family members requested to meet with US President Joe Biden.
He wrote on his personal page on Twitter: “Although Blinken has committed to fulfill some commitments, we are still waiting to see if the Biden administration will respond positively to our request for justice regarding Shirin’s assassination.”
