Pak Sahafat – On the occasion of the World Quds Day, the conference “Palestine, the symbol of Muslim unity” was held under the auspices of the House of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in “Lahore”, the capital of Punjab province, with the presence of prominent political figures and religious thinkers of Pakistan.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, this unifying gathering was held at the same time as the grand marches of the World Quds Day in Lahore and other cities of Pakistan, hosted by Iran’s House of Culture.
“Mehran Mohdfar”, Consul General of Iran in Lahore, “Jaafar Ronas” head of our country’s culture house, Allameh “Muhammad Hussain Akbar” member of the Punjab Ulema Council, Mrs. “Syedah Zahra Naqvi” former member of state parliament and Mrs. “Sakine Mahdavi” head of the Quran and Ahl al-Bayt (AS) Academy During a speech at the Palestine Conference in Lahore, the symbol of Muslim unity, emphasized the determination of the nations of the region to defend Palestine and its ideals, especially opposing the occupation of the illegitimate Zionist regime.
In this conference, Islamic unity and solidarity were emphasized in the direction of the freedom of the first qibla of Muslims, Holy Quds and oppressed Palestine.
Mowahhid Far; The Consul General of Iran in Lahore said holding a national referendum with the participation of all genuine Palestinians, including Muslims, Christians and Jews, is the only possible solution for the Palestinian issue and said: The issue of Palestine is no longer only the problem of the Palestinians, but the first issue of the Islamic world, and the World Quds Day has become an important symbol of the global resistance movement against occupation, terrorism, apartheid, injustice and the systematic violation of the natural and fundamental rights of the Palestinian people in the world.

Ronas, the head of the House of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran, considered Quds Day to belong to all Muslims and freedom-seekers in the world and stated: Today, the “invincible will” in Palestine and the entire West Asian region has replaced the Zionist “invincible army” and until the Zionist dominates Jerusalem, all days of the year should be considered as Jerusalem Day.
Ms. Mahdavi, head of the Quran and Ahl al-Bayt Academy, also stated: Imam Khomeini (RA) said that if all the Muslims poured a bucket of water on the Zionist regime, it would be flooded. At that time, the Muslims did not understand the Imam’s words correctly, but now, with the passage of time, everyone has realized that the Zionist regime has not only occupied Palestine, but intends to occupy all Muslim countries.
Pir Seyed Habib Irfani, a member of the Islamic Ideological Council of Pakistan, praised the restoration of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and said: Muslims are oppressed in other parts of the world in addition to Kashmir and Palestine.
He considered the support of Quds as the most important common factor among the Muslims of the world and said: If Muslim countries unite to support the oppressed, no Muslim in the world will remain oppressed.
On the sidelines of the World Quds Day seminar, an infographic exhibition series on the topic of Palestine was also held, which was welcomed by the participants.
