Pak Sahafat – The magnificent World Quds Day ceremony was held by the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi with the presence of senior officials of the government of Pakistan’s Sindh province, parliament representatives, state ministers and religious leaders of this country.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, the commemoration of the World Quds Day and solidarity with the Palestinian nation was held on Thursday evening hosted by Iran’s Consul General Hassan Noorian in the city of Karachi, the capital of Sindh province in southern Pakistan.
“Syed Murad Ali Shah”, the minister of Sindh state, “Kamran Tisori”, the governor of the state along with a number of senior cabinet ministers of the state government, representatives of parliaments, prominent figures of political parties and Shia and Sunni scholars showed their solidarity by attending the grand ceremony of the World Quds Day.
Consul Generals of Bangladesh, Indonesia, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Russia, Japan and Malaysia also attended this ceremony.

Our country’s Consul General Nooryan, in a speech to the guests, expressed his satisfaction with the large presence of the first-rate figures of the political government, parliament representatives and state ministers of Pakistan at the World Quds Day gathering, and said: The strong unity of the Islamic world is the main support of the Palestinian nation to defend Jerusalem and fight against the occupation of the usurping Zionist regime.
He added: The historic decree of Imam Khomeini (RA) to hold the World Quds Day on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan became a torch for the Muslim nations, which has kept the light of the struggle for the liberation of Palestine from the clutches of the occupying Quds regime until today.
Consul General of Iran in Karachi said: The position of Iran and Pakistan as two strong arms of the Islamic world to support oppressed nations, especially Palestine, is a source of strength for other nations in the region.
A number of prominent political and religious figures of Pakistan also spoke in this ceremony and while condemning the attack of the Zionist military on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, they emphasized that the Islamic world will never be caught by the enemies’ conspiracy to compromise with the fake Israeli regime.
On Friday, April 14, which coincides with the 23rd month of Ramadan and at the same time as the International Quds Day, the Muslim people of Pakistan, along with the nations of the world throughout this country, will shout “Death to Israel” and once again show their support for the Palestinian people will declare their ideals.
