President of Pakistan: Iran’s attention to the issues of the Islamic world is admirable

Pak Sahafat – The President of Pakistan, emphasizing the important position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in dealing with the issues of the Islamic world, especially Palestine, and the fight against Islamophobia, called for the expansion of economic relations and the increase in the volume of trade between the two neighboring countries.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s reporter, at the end of his mission as the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, “Syed Mohammad Ali Hosseini” met with the President of the Republic of Pakistan “Arif Alavi” in Islamabad today.

The Presidential Palace of Pakistan issued a statement on this meeting and announced: Alavi called for increasing cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in all fields and stated that strengthening economic relations, especially increasing the volume of trade exchanges, helps to ensure mutual benefits.

Appreciating the efforts of the Iranian ambassador to help strengthen the relations between the two brotherly countries during the mission, the President of Pakistan said: Pakistan highly values ​​its fraternal relations with Iran, because both brotherly countries have historical ties and cultural affinity, and in addition, they have common points of view on important regional and international issues.

Appreciating the support of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the positions of Pakistan, he added that strengthening the anti-terrorism cooperation between the two countries is inevitable to eliminate this challenge in the region.

Praising Iran’s attention to Islamic issues, especially Palestine, the fight against Islamophobia, the President of Pakistan expressed his satisfaction with the resumption of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and considered this development as an important initiative that will bring peace and stability in the Middle East.

In its statement, the Presidential Palace of Pakistan quoted the statement of the Iranian ambassador and announced: Hosseini emphasized the need to expand economic, cultural and political cooperation between the two countries.

The Iranian ambassador also emphasized the presence of the military and defense sectors of the two countries in the exhibitions of each other’s military capabilities in a meeting with the “secretive” minister of defense production in Islamabad.

The parties announced their mutual readiness to hold joint specialized training courses in the military and defense sectors.

They described the level of cooperation between Iran and Pakistan in various fields of common interests, increasing border security, countering terrorism and ensuring regional economic relations as satisfactory.

Seyyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini began his mission as the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan. Reza Amiri Moghadam, another Iranian diplomat, has replaced Hosseini in Islamabad.
