Pak Sahafat – The head of Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party in Pakistan’s Balochistan said: The revival of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia should be taken as a good omen because this development will have positive political, social and economic effects on the region.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Pakistani media, “Mahmoud Khan Achakzai” welcomed the beginning of official relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and said that this development should be taken as a good omen during a speech at the meeting of his party’s supporters in the city of Pishin located in Baluchistan province.
This Pakistani parliament member and member of the country’s coalition government added that the improvement of relations between these two regional rivals will have positive political, economic and social effects for the entire region, including the Islamic world and the Middle East.

Referring to the tension in Pakistan’s relations with India and Afghanistan, he said: Islamabad should follow the example of the method of resolving disputes in the region and resuming relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and take steps towards restoring relations with its neighbors.
Mahmoud Khan stated that the improvement of relations between Tehran and Riyadh promises peace for the region and helps to overcome the challenges caused by sectarianism.
Tehran and Riyadh, which had suspended diplomatic relations between the two countries since 2016, agreed last month to resume bilateral relations with the mediation of China.
Following the visit of Seyed Ebrahim Raisi to Beijing, Ali Shamkhani started intensive negotiations with his Saudi counterpart in China on March 15, 1401, with the aim of following up on the agreements of the President’s visit, in order to finally resolve the issues between Tehran and Riyadh.
