What will be the result of the naval war between Hezbollah and the Zionist army?

Pak Sahafat – The future war between Hezbollah and the Zionist regime will not be limited to the land area, but will be drawn to the sea bed, where the resistance forces will cut off the trade bottleneck of the Zionists in the Mediterranean and the Red Sea with new surprises, in addition to military losses.

Despite several years of fragile peace on the borders of Lebanon and the occupied territories, with the establishment of the extremist government of Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, the black clouds of a possible war have cast a shadow over the borders of both sides, and there is a possibility of a conflict starting at any moment.

Although senior Zionist officials warn against any conflict with Hezbollah and say that they are not ready for such a situation, the provocative actions carried out by the Zionist army around the borders of Lebanon are pushing the two sides towards serious tension.

Al-Mayadeen network announced on Tuesday that the Lebanese army has put its naval forces on alert against Israeli boats that violate Lebanese sovereignty. It is said that the Israeli fishermen in the Al-Naqourah region have increased their thirst by entering the territorial waters of Lebanon. While these sea movements are being carried out, news sources reported on Monday that the Zionist regime has invaded Lebanon again and installed a concrete wall inside the country’s territory.

Despite these tension-causing measures, the Tel Aviv security authorities are extremely afraid of a conflict with Hezbollah. The estimate of the security apparatus of the Zionist regime, which has been published in recent days, indicates that thousands of rockets will be sent to the occupied territories every day, and Israel will be plunged into silence and darkness for long hours.

According to the report of the Zionist media, “Communications and calls are also disrupted due to Hezbollah’s attacks, and the infrastructure of mobile phones is disrupted. Even the power of warning against Hezbollah missile attacks is severely overshadowed and routes are closed and Israeli ports cannot be used. Air flights will also be suspended and the occurrence of thousands of fires throughout Israel and widespread cyber-attacks are not unlikely.

Certainly, with the beginning of the conflict, one of the areas that will witness the most important fronts of the battle and can determine the fate of the war will take place in the sea area.

According to a report published by the Hebrew media a few years ago, Hezbollah has received dozens of Russian “Yakhont” missiles that can deal serious blows to the regime’s fleet of warships. The Yakhont missile, with a range of 300 km, is a single warhead surface-to-surface supersonic anti-ship cruise missile that moves 15 km before reaching the target, at a height of 15 meters above sea level, and thus radars are unable to detect it. The Yakhont missile has an early warning radar, which puts the missile in a fast and sharp maneuvering mode if the radar is locked on the missile.

Also, C-802 missiles, which are in the list of “land-sea” missiles, form part of Hezbollah’s naval power, which was used for the first time against the Israeli ship “Hnit” during the 2006 war.

On the other hand, due to the extensive military cooperation of the resistance axis, the possibility of Hezbollah obtaining the technology to build fast boats is very high, the boats that the Zionist regime is afraid of reaching Hezbollah, the length of some of them reaches 14 meters, and it is possible to arm them with anti-ship missiles, and high speed is one of the remarkable features of these boats. There is also a smaller and faster version of these boats that are equipped with special weapons and are able to respond to any attack.

What were Hezbollah’s scenarios for grounding Israel?

These are part of Hezbollah’s power in the maritime field and it is developing day by day. Considering the tensions between Lebanon and Israel regarding the drawing of maritime borders in recent years, it seems that the use of force at sea will form the most important part of possible conflicts between the Zionist enemy and the resistance forces.

Zionist sources believe that Hezbollah has been able to acquire naval battle equipment in recent years; An issue that can increase the scope of future conflicts with Israel, and according to some experts, the adventure in the field of work was done with the aim of testing the naval power of Hezbollah in order to have an accurate estimate of the power of resistance.

Cutting the economic throat of the Zionists

Undoubtedly, any war between the Zionist army and Hezbollah in the maritime arena will not be equally costly for both sides. For Lebanon, which has been dealing with the economic crisis and Arab-Western sanctions for several years and has nothing to lose, this war will not cause extensive economic losses, but for the Zionist regime, which is highly dependent on its sea borders and 80% of its trade.

Also, 90% of Israel’s imports are carried out through civilian ships that are traveling in the Mediterranean Sea. Ensuring security in the seas has made it easy for Israeli commercial ships to travel in them. The Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea are the economic arteries of the Zionist regime, one area is under the control of Yemen’s Ansarullah and the other is under the control of Hezbollah, and this is a serious threat to the vital arteries of Tel Aviv, and if the conflict between the two sides extends to the surface of the sea, the security of the naval fleet Israel will also suffer a crisis.

The strategic cities of the Zionist regime such as “Tel Aviv, Haifa and Ashdod” are ports where the economic pulse of the occupied territories depends on the traffic of commercial ships. The fact that Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, has repeatedly warned that they will target Haifa and Tel Aviv in the coming war because of the importance these cities have for Tel Aviv’s economy.

Making Israel’s ports unsafe for a long time will cost the regime billions of dollars, and at a time when the occupied territories are facing an economic crisis caused by the withdrawal of foreign capital, a bad outcome awaits the Zionists.

Hezbollah has other options to disable the economic artery of the Zionist regime, focusing on the Karish gas field in the Mediterranean Sea, which is shared between this regime and Lebanon. In the last two decades, the Zionists unilaterally exploited the Karish gas resources by building facilities and drilling rigs, but since last year, gas extraction from this field was stopped due to Hezbollah’s warnings. A senior Israeli security official admitted last year that Hezbollah’s arsenal of weapons, including cruise missiles, could threaten Israeli ships and gas rigs. Nasrallah had previously threatened that if Israel wants to disrupt the naval negotiations, resistance missiles will be aimed at him.

Military damage

In the military field, the amount of damage that the occupying army will suffer from the resistance forces is no less than economic and commercial troubles, and the Zionists remember this bitter experience well. In the 33-day war, Hezbollah was not militarily powerful compared to today, but it was able to inflict a heavy blow on the regime with a missile attack on the “Sa’ar” warship and practically disable the regime’s naval arm in the war. The Israeli army announced at the same time that if the Hezbollah cruise missile hit the body of the frigate or the fire caused by its hit reached the additional fuel tanks of the helicopter under the helicopter pad, there was a possibility of a large explosion in the frigate and the possibility of sinking this vessel.

Hizbullah’s acquisition of precision-guided missiles, which has become a nightmare for Tel Aviv authorities these days, can create hell for the Zionists, because they will no longer have the ability to confront Hizbullah by losing warships.

The Zionist regime, whose vital obstacle is completely tied to the sea, has borne a lot of costs to ensure the safety of ships in the Mediterranean Sea. In this regard, in the last decade, the Zionist regime has purchased 4 destroyers from Germany under the pretext of ensuring the security of gas extraction platforms, whose value is estimated at 2 billion dollars.

Also, in January 2020, Tel Aviv signed a contract worth 3 billion euros with the German company “ThyssenKrupp” for the construction of 3 advanced military submarines, which are to be used in the Israeli Navy.

Israel’s heavy military spending to strengthen its naval base shows that this regime is aware of Hezbollah’s threats to strike it on the seabed. Therefore, if Hezbollah inflicts the same calamity on submarines and multi-billion-dollar ships as it did on the Sa’ar frigate, the Israeli Navy will be grounded. Imposing these billions of dollars costs Hezbollah only a few tens of thousands of dollars worth of rockets, which is a small figure compared to the enemy’s losses.
