The continuation of the political deadlock; is the Likud party bypassing Netanyahu?

Pak Sahafat – The current polls in occupied Palestine show that the upcoming parliamentary elections of the Zionist regime will not end the political deadlock of this regime, and in the shadow of the power struggle within the Likud party, a plan is underway to bypass Benjamin Netanyahu, the leader of this party.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing Palestinian media, the overwhelming majority of polls in occupied Palestine show that none of the two political camps of this regime will be able to win the majority of the next parliament after the parliamentary elections next November.

These polls show that the camp of right-wing opposition parties in the Israeli regime led by Benjamin Netanyahu will not be able to win the majority of 61 seats in the parliamentary elections.

The opposite camp, led by Yair Lapid, the current interim Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, will not be able to win the majority of seats in the upcoming parliamentary elections, and as a result, the political stalemate will continue after these elections.

Zionist website Zaman Yisrael wrote: Accordingly, and to prepare for such an outcome the day after the election, Likud leaders have launched a new effort to form a cabinet if Netanyahu fails to win the necessary seats for the right-wing opposition camp can remain the head of the Likud party and a high-ranking member of the parliament, but not be present in the unified cabinet formed by the Likud with the participation of other parties, headed by the current war minister Benny Gantz, and the chairmanship of this cabinet is alternately held by a member of the parliament from the Likud party and choose Netanyahu and Gantz.

Zionist media: The Israeli army issued an order to assassinate senior officials of Palestinian groups

According to this Zionist website, this proposal was proposed after the parties outside Netanyahu’s camp refused to join his possible cabinet in the future after the elections. This refusal has caused the parliamentary elections of the Israeli regime to be repeated five times due to the fragile structure of the cabinet and its collapse.

This news site quoted a high-ranking member of the Zionist parliament who supports this proposal and wrote: This is the best solution because no one wants to be faced with repeating elections six times. Netanyahu also does not want to repeat these elections on the one hand, and on the other hand, Lapid remains in power as the head of the temporary cabinet. At the same time, Netanyahu does not want to step down from power, so we will reach an agreement with all parties so that Netanyahu will be the head of the Parliament’s Foreign Relations and Security Commission.

This member of the Zionist parliament added: Netanyahu will remain the head of the Likud party and will choose the ministers, as if he himself had won the elections. He will still be able to manage his trial. The only disputed issue is the identity of the representative of the Likud party in the post of prime minister. Maybe “Yarif Levin” is the agreed candidate, but at the same time, it is not clear that well-known figures like “Nir Barkat” or “Israel Katz” will agree with his leading, even temporarily.

This representative of the Zionist parliament continued: Netanyahu will supervise the work of ministers outside of the cabinet composition; Just as “Aryeh Darei” (leader of the Shas party) did after being convicted of corruption charges, during the period he was banned from serving as a minister. The question now is whether Gantz and his colleagues will support this complex process or oppose it for fear of another deception by Netanyahu. I think this is doable, maybe because “Smutrich” and “Itmar Ben Ghafir” (from the religious Zionist parties) will not have a place in such a cabinet composition, and this will make them agree to this plan.

According to this website, at the same time, this proposed plan faces opposition within the Likud party. People close to Barakat in this party want to hold internal elections for the leadership of the party if Netanyahu and his supporters fail to win 61 parliamentary seats. A person close to Barakat has said that if Netanyahu does not win next month’s parliamentary elections, he will also run for Likud party leadership.

According to one of the leaders of the Likud party, a meeting was held with Levin, Zeiv Elkin, and Ishaq Pandros, a member of parliament from the “United Torah Judaism” organization, during which all these scenarios were discussed, but Pandros told this media that if If Netanyahu fails to win 61 seats in the parliament, we will definitely have to wait for the sixth round of elections.
