According to the report of Pak Sahafat International News Agency, the recent events in the West Bank and the unprecedented attacks of the Zionist regime army on the Jenin camp cannot be understood without reflecting on the turning point of developments in Palestine in recent years, namely the 2021 Sword of Quds battle. At that time, the Supreme Court of the Zionist regime had ordered the departure of several Palestinian Arab families from the Arab neighborhood of “Sheikh Jarrah” in East Jerusalem.
The Zionist regime also closed Damascus Gate, which is one of the main entrances for Muslims to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and attacked this mosque on several occasions. These decrees and measures were met with a relatively passive reaction of the self-governing organizations and the strong opposition of Hamas.
Hamas threatened in a deadline of several days that if this ruling is implemented, it will target Israel with rocket attacks. When Tel Aviv did not take this threat seriously, Hamas started raining rockets on the occupied territories on the night of May 11, 2021.
This conflict continued for 11 days and finally a ceasefire was established on May 22, 2021 with the request of both sides and the mediation of Egypt and Qatar. Israel also withdrew from the confiscation of houses in Sheikh Jarrah. The ceasefire, the terms of which may have never been implemented, but it created new equations, which have since been repeated and emphasized many times by the leaders of Hamas and especially Islamic Jihad under the title of the unity of the fields.

The special feature of the Holy Sword battle was the accidental entry of the Gaza Strip resistance into the political and military equations outside of this barricade. For the first time, the resistance of the Gaza strip decided to take action to change the equations and prevent Tel Aviv’s actions in the city of Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque, an action that happened to be called the first war that Gaza initiated. This strategy and decision was contrary to all the previous actions of the Gaza resistance, which was not only in the position of defending the Gaza Strip, but also costing money for outside the strip.

But what is important is that the army and the political leaders of the Zionist regime, apart from their frequent concern about the security and military conditions in the north of the West Bank and the Jenin camp, know that the strategy of uniting the fields of the common resistance room will only come close to becoming a reality and becoming operational.
The firing of several rockets by Hamas-affiliated groups from within the borders of Lebanon into the occupied territories is an example of all fields coming to support each other, that is, unity in battles.
But what makes Vahdat Meyedin operational is the strength and stabilization of the conditions of the resistance battalions in the Jenin camp, a camp that is turning into another Gaza Strip. Jenin can disrupt all equations for Zionists in any border and region. For example, the same way that the Gaza Strip entered the field to support Quds and the neighborhood of Sheikh Cherah in the Battle of the Sword of Quds, then any action against the Gaza Strip can be done by opening fire and putting pressure on the Zionists from Jenin and armed operations in the Bank and the territories of 1948. It should not be forgotten that one of the characteristics of the Holy Sword battle was the widespread demonstrations and the loss of control of some Arab neighborhoods.

The Zionists view the resistance battalions in the Jenin camp as a nuisance and a danger in the north of the West Bank, and for that in the last two decades, they have tried economic bribery and control by the police of the self-governing organizations, etc., but it has been 3 years since they arrived. They have undertaken direct operations, including arrests and assassinations, hoping to stop the consolidation, networking and strengthening of the armed battalions in the camp and eliminate them in the next stage.
But the equations have not only not gone well for them, and if in 2020 they would have arrested a young man by sending some “tigers” (referring to the Zionist special forces), but now to enter Jenin and remove several team houses in a neighborhood of Jenin need two days of full-scale air and ground combat. A battle that, according to most analysts, did not reach its goals and Jenin was handed over to his battalions with more confidence than before.
The axis of resistance in a smart and patient strategy is equipping and strengthening the infrastructure of the armed battalions of Jenin; A strategy that complements the Holy Sword battle and will make the conditions for the Zionists more complicated and costly in any other battle in any geographical location.
The media and the resistance must understand that it now has the upper hand in Jenin and that delay in reducing tension is to its benefit. What the Zionists are afraid of and try to stop the passage of “time” with crime.
