American newspaper: Instead of following Trump’s policy, Biden should seek peace with Iran

An American newspaper reported that the new US president should seek lasting peace with Iran instead of pursuing Trump’s aggressive policies.

In a report, USA Today described the abolition of former President Donald Trump’s policies toward the Islamic Republic of Iran and lasting peace with Iran as the only way President Joe Biden could lead to “unfinished wars.”

Referring to the legacy Trump left to the Biden administration at the end of his four-year term, the report said that Joe Biden had inherited many scandals inside and outside the United States.

The American newspaper then referred to Trump’s aggressive policies towards Iran and wrote that the Biden administration should fundamentally reduce the US dependence on the use of military force and start this action by achieving a lasting peace with Iran.

According to the report, Trump had adopted a very harsh policy towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, and now the continuation of Trump’s policy of “maximum pressure” against Iran in the Biden administration has increased tensions between Washington and Tehran.

Newspaper USA Today said in a statement that: “Today, Biden has the opportunity to draw a new path and pursue broader diplomacy by joining Borjam.

According to the report, Borjam is a fully prepared solution to the crisis between Washington and Iran, and if the US President misses this opportunity, the door to diplomacy with Iran will be closed and the possibility of a military confrontation will be greatly increased.

The American newspaper then went on to say that Biden and congressional Democrats should pursue diplomacy with Iran seriously and use Borjam as a model for resolving other differences between the United States and Iran.

Despite Biden’s promise to join Borjam, his government officials use various forums to determine the condition for his return to Borjam, while the Islamic Republic of Iran has stated that the condition for the return of the United States to Borjam will be met unconditionally. Sanctions imposed, reimposed, or relabaled by the US government against Iran.

On the other hand, Biden administration officials, despite acknowledging the failure of the maximum pressure policy in similar statements to Trump administration officials, say they intend to use the return to the Borjam as a platform to “strengthen and prolong” the agreement. Explaining the components of this “broader agreement” with Iran, the Biden administration said it was necessary to address disputes with Iran over missiles and regional activities.
