A Saudi court has issued a verdict for “Lajin al-Hazlul”

Saudi sources refer to the trial of the Saudi woman activist Lajin al-Hadhul, which took place today; He was sentenced to more than five years in prison.

Saudi sources say a Saudi court has sentenced Saudi activist Lejin al-Hadhoul to five years and eight months in prison.

Last Wednesday, a criminal court in Riyadh issued a preliminary ruling opposing a complaint by the family of Lejin al-Hazloul about her torture and harassment in prison.

In this regard, Alia and Walid, the sister and brother of Lajin al-Hazloul, had protested against the court ruling and announced: Our request to review the cameras that recorded the events during Legin’s torture was denied, and this was stated in a confidential report that Legin was informed of and that his request for a copy of was denied, but the cameras should be checked. .

Alia al-Hazlul had stated: There is a strange contradiction. This is because we wanted access to the camera files during the torture period, and the confidential torture report states that the file will be deleted after 40 days and that the cameras will not be accessible.

Walid al-Hadhul had said: The judge asked Lejin to answer at the same hearing, but she asked for a deadline. The judge objected to the deadline and sent the torture case to the criminal court, stressing that there was no torture, according to the prosecutor’s report.

Ali al-Dabisi, head of the European-Saudi NGO, tweeted: The most important institutions of the country surround and conspire against an innocent woman and she stands in the center of the prison with power. The world believes her and you are a liar.

Abdullah, the son of Salman al-Awda, a Saudi missionary who is in prison, also tweeted: “After torturing Lajin, you are now covering up your crime.”
