The Al-Hashd-Al-Shabi thwarted ISIL’s plan to attack Baghdad

The Iraqi Al-Hashd-Al-Shabi announced that it had thwarted ISIL’s plan to target Baghdad.

According to Pak Sahafat news agency, quoting the Iraqi news agency “Wa”, the statement from the Al-Hashd-Al-Shabi said: In the last 48 hours, the 27th Brigade of the Al-Hashd-Al-Shabi Brigade was able to seize and seize four ISIS hideouts in Baghdad, which were the headquarters of military equipment, logistics and missiles.

The statement said: The terrorist elements intended to carry out attacks against Baghdad with these weapons. We were able to seize the large ISIS hideout near the Al-Shiha Bridge.

Yahya Rassoul, spokesman for the commander-in-chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, also tweeted that the Iraqi Air Force had carried out three attacks against ISIL under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command with F-16 fighter jets.

The Iraqi Interior Ministry’s Intelligence and Investigation Agency continues to pursue ISIL terrorists and has arrested 13 suspects in Ninawa.
