Sheikh Al-Azhar: I hope that insulting the Quran will be a motivation for the unity of Muslims

Pak Sahafat – Ahmad Al-Khatib Sheikh of Al-Azhar, referring to the repeated insults to the Holy Quran in Europe, said: I hope that this action will reduce the gap between Muslims and unite them.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Al-Mayadeen network, Al-Khatib added: “We will stand against anyone who wants to insult Muslims and their holy things.”

Sheikh Al-Azhar also said: Once again, we ask all the free people of the world to support the Quran; May God Almighty continue to boycott the products of Sweden and Denmark.

In recent years, some European countries, especially the Scandinavian region, have been the scene of violations and desecration of Muslim sanctities. In the shadow of the support of the Swedish police, the right-wing extremists tried to set fire to the Holy Quran, and Muslim protests were also suppressed.

These people desecrated the Quran outside a mosque in Stockholm at the end of June.
