Anti-American protests in Baghdad; Al-Fayadh: The departure of the Americans is the guarantor of a dignified life in Iraq

Thousands of Iraqis gathered in Baghdad on the eve of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of commanders Hajj Qassim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, calling for the complete withdrawal of US troops from Iraq.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency International Group, the Iraqi people marched in Baghdad on Saturday to mark the second anniversary of the assassination of Hajj Qasim Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the US deputy chief of the Al-Hashd al-Shabi organization, and demanded the complete withdrawal of US troops.

Demonstrators chanted “Neither Israel nor the United States” and “Ayatollah Sistani is our leader” and called for a complete withdrawal of Americans from Iraq.

Faleh al-Fayadh, head of al-Hashd al-Shabi organization in Iraq, called on the Iraqi government to fulfill its duty to implement the parliament’s resolution on the withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq.

Speaking at a rally of millions of Iraqis on Saturday to mark the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Haj Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes in Baghdad, he said that today is the day of loyalty to the martyrs of victory.

Fayyaz said that we make a covenant with the commanders of the martyr of victory to move on the path of victory and martyrdom, and the withdrawal of American and foreign forces from Iraq is a guarantee that Iraq will live a dignified life.

Stating that the presence of foreign forces will never be in the best interest of the Iraqi people, especially in the area of ​​peaceful coexistence,” he said: “We call on the Iraqi government to fulfill its responsibilities to ensure the withdrawal of US and foreign troops and the evacuation of Iraqi forces.”

Fayyaz said that the conscience of the ummah is with the supreme religious authority of Iraq, and we respect this authority, especially the person of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani, and we adhere to their guidelines.

Hadi Al-Amiri: Revenge for the blood of the martyrs will be achieved with the withdrawal of foreign troops

Another speaker at the ceremony was Hadi al-Amiri, head of the Iraqi Fatah coalition, who said that the cost of the blood of the resistance martyrs would be the withdrawal of the occupying forces from Iraq, and that we would never be satisfied with the complete withdrawal of these troops.

He said: “Revenge for the blood of these martyrs is the complete withdrawal of foreign forces, and we will never bargain with anyone over this goal.”

He stated that the martyrs Soleimani and Al-Mohandes were the commanders of the path to liberate Iraq from the clutches of ISIS, adding that Iraqi groups are determined to continue this path and will remain loyal to the pure blood of these martyrs.

Amiri said that the Iraqi Al-Hashd al-Shabi organization will remain strong, dear and victorious, and that we will not bargain over it, regardless of the sacrifices made. He said that the popular uprising in the path of honor and dignity will never be short.

Sheikh Khalid al-Mulla: Iraqis defeat ISIS with fatwa on authority and blood of martyrs

Sheikh Khalid al-Mulla, one of Iraq’s Sunni leaders, also said at the ceremony that the Iraqis had defeated ISIS with the fatwa of the authority and the blood of the martyrs, and that the Islamic Republic of Iran had helped in this victory.

He called on the Iraqi people to fill the gap left by the martyrdom of the martyrs of the resistance and to replace them.

Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, Secretary General of Asaeb Ahl al-Haq in Iraq, also addressed Sardar Soleimani: “Just as you loved the Iraqis, the honorable Iraqis love you.”

He addressed the Americans, saying that the blood of the martyrs Soleimani and the engineers had created a great nation in Iraq and said: “The children of the resistance and the popular uprising will force you to leave Baghdad with humiliation, as they did in 2012.”

“We are ready in every field, both military and political, and today is our day,” said Ryan al-Chaldani, commander of the Iraqi Christian Brigade (Babylon).
