Ansarullah: The words of American officials to extend the ceasefire in Yemen are invalid

Pak Sahafat – The deputy of defense and security affairs of the Prime Minister of the National Salvation Government of Yemen said about the efforts of the American authorities to extend the ceasefire that if the siege is not broken and the salaries of the government employees are not paid, these actions are of no value.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, Jalal Al-Ravishan told Yemen’s al-Masira channel: Until something actually happens and the Yemenis do not feel their pain and suffering reduced, Sana’a will not rely on the statements of American and international officials to extend the ceasefire.

The head of Yemen’s negotiating team, Mohammad Abd Salam, also stated on Sunday that paying employees’ salaries, ending the siege of Sana’a airport and Hodeidah port, and consolidating the ceasefire are necessary measures for real stability in Yemen.

He added: These requests are legitimate requests and other than that, stability and establishment are meaningless.

With the end of the ceasefire announced by the United Nations, which has been extended three times since last April, American and European officials announced that they are trying to extend the ceasefire.

This is while the National Salvation Government of Yemen considers it a waste of time for real stability in Yemen due to the non-fulfillment of Yemeni demands and repeated violations by the coalition.
