A Bahraini political activist has said that the ruling regime has been pursuing a policy of keeping the Bahraini people poor since 2001 in order to confiscate the country’s wealth.
“Jafar Yahya” stated in an interview: The people of Bahrain are accustomed to lying and misleading the ruling regime, and despite the regime’s efforts to distort the events of the country, the facts have become clear to the people.
Yahya added that since 2001, the Bahraini regime has been pursuing the approach of keeping the Bahraini people and the genuine Bahraini citizen poor and relying on foreigners.

Referring to widespread poverty in Bahraini society, the Bahraini expert stated that Bahraini youth have no jobs and that the Al-Khalifa regime is targeting citizens in order to confiscate the country’s wealth and natural resources.
