Yemeni oil crisis; Thousands die on “whiteboards”

Health and housing officials in Yemen stressed that the Saudi coalition’s continued blockade of oil tankers from major ports has created a difficult and catastrophic humanitarian situation.

The situation threatens the continued operation of 400 public hospitals, where thousands of patients receive medical care.

These patients traveled abroad for treatment before the war, but the policy of economic blockade and further closure of ports and land and air bases, including Sanaa International Airport, has caused thousands of patients to seek medical treatment inside the country.

But despite the closure of hospitals and the difficulty of supplying the oil and petroleum products needed to set it up, the situation has become more difficult.

The Yemeni Supreme Political Council in Sanaa directly threatens the forces and leaders of the Saudi coalition and will increase the scope of military action on an unprecedented level on all fronts.

Leaders of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council have warned against ignoring the threat, stressing that the interests of Saudi Arabia and others are an easy target available to the Yemeni armed forces, as evidenced by the deadly blows to Saudi Aramco.

In this catastrophic situation, citizens are calling for the implementation of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council’s threats of military operations in the hope that the daily suffering caused by the brutal actions of the aggressor Saudi coalition will be alleviated, especially as the attacks create long queues on main streets across Yemen.
