Yemeni Foreign Ministry: The Arab League has lost its legitimacy

Pak Sahafat – The Foreign Ministry of the Yemeni National Salvation Government announced on Sunday night in response to a statement by the Arab League that it supported the Saudi coalition in its invasion, that the Arab League has lost its legitimacy and value.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency from Al-Masira, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry said in a statement: The recently published statement of the League of Arab States does not reflect the Arab conscience or public opinion of the Arab people.

The Yemeni Foreign Ministry added: The Arab League has lost its legitimacy and value, and it has died in the Arab conscience 40 years ago, and today it is completely isolated and completely separated from the people of our nation.

The statement added: The UAE’s appeal to a weak, helpless and illegitimate institution such as the Arab League shows the extent of their bankruptcy and the deadly isolation of the aggressor countries.

At the end of the statement, the Foreign Ministry of the Yemeni National Salvation Government said: The request to establish a genuine Yemeni party, which represents the vast majority of the Yemeni people, and to label it a terrorist, is absurd and shows great stupidity and misunderstanding of the reality of Yemen.

The Arab League has previously issued a statement supporting the UAE, which was recently targeted by Yemenis in response to its aggression against Yemen, giving the country a “right to self-defense.”

The alliance, which has remained silent following recent coalition attacks on Yemeni infrastructure and vital facilities, as well as the bombing of residential areas and a detention center in the country, poses a serious threat to missile and drone strikes by the Yemeni army and popular committees on Abu Dhabi military installations, civilian vitality, energy resources and the stability of the global economy, as well as the threat to regional peace.

While many countries and politicians in the region consider the attacks by the Yemeni army and popular committees led by Ansarullah as self-defense and not a terrorist act, the Arab League called on all countries to take action after the Yemeni army and popular committees fired rockets and drones.
