World leaders congratulated the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan

Pak Sahafat – World leaders, including UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and US President Joe Biden, congratulated the international community on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan in separate messages.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency, in a message, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on the people to work for the security, dignity and well-being of all men and women during the holy month of Ramadan.

US President Joe Biden also wrote in a Twitter message: Jill and I (Biden’s wife) wish the best for Muslim communities here in the United States and around the world at the beginning of Ramadan; we wish you a blessed month.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also wrote in a message: At sunset today, Muslim communities in the United States and around the world welcomed the holy month of Ramadan and a season of contemplation, renewal, and thanksgiving. Happy Ramadan to all who celebrate; May this month bring you peace and blessings.

The President of Canada Justin Trudeau also wished his Canadian compatriots a blessed month and peace.

He wrote in a message: Addressed to Canadian Muslims Nationwide: As the holy month of Ramadan begins and fasting, prayer and contemplation with your loved ones, I wish you a blessed and peaceful month. Happy Ramadan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also wished all humanity the best in the holy month of Ramadan.
