Nearly half of American voters support the re-election of former President Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election, according to a new poll.
According to the Hill-Harris Hicks poll conducted between October 13 and 14, 47 percent of those who registered to vote said they supported the idea of ​​Donald Trump running in the next US presidential election.
However, the percentage of opponents of Donald Trump’s re-nomination was higher in this poll, and 53% of respondents opposed him doing so.
Also, according to the poll, 77% of Republican respondents in the poll supported the idea of ​​Trump entering the 2024 US presidential race, while 23% of them were against such a thing.
On the other hand, 77% of Democrats and 56% of independents in the poll opposed Trump doing the same.
A poll by the same institutions between 2020 and 1917 found that 47 percent of all voters in the polls support Trump’s re-election in the 2024 presidential election, including 75 percent of Republicans, 24 percent of Democrats and 47 percent.
In a poll on December 14-14, 2020, the same institutions, a majority of 59 percent, said it was “likely” that Trump would run again in the 2024 presidential election.

The latest Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 895 registered voters between October 13 and 14 with a positive and negative margin of 3.3 percent.
