US request to stop Ansarullah attacks on Saudi Arabia

The US State Department issued a statement urging Ansarullah to halt attacks on Saudi Arabia following Washington’s support for the Arab League in the Yemeni civil war.

“While US President Joe Biden has taken steps to end the war in Yemen and Saudi Arabia has approved settlement talks, Washington is deeply concerned about the continuation of Houthi attacks,” the State Department said in a statement.

According to a US State Department statement, Washington calls on Yemen’s Ansarullah to immediately stop attacks on Saudi civilian areas and any new military strikes inside Yemen.

The United States, which has always supported instability in Yemen by supporting the Arab League, has now called on Ansarullah to refrain from destabilizing actions and to commit to the efforts of UN Special Representative Martin Griffiths for peace.

According to IRNA, Saudi Arabia formed a coalition of several Arab countries and, together with the United States and the Zionist regime, attacked the poor and Islamic country of Yemen militarily from land, sea and air from April 1994. This military aggression has not achieved anything for Riyadh so far, and it has only led to the destruction of Yemen and the killing of thousands of civilians in that country.
