Trump’s trial in the middle of next year’s American election

Pak Sahafat – A US federal judge ordered on Friday local time that Donald Trump’s trial in connection with the secret documents case will begin in May next year (2024).

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, US District Judge Eileen Cannon said on Friday local time that Trump’s trial could begin as early as May 20. The preliminary hearing of this case will be held on May 14.

The American CNN news network affiliated with the Democrats and a supporter of the current US President Joe Biden reported that if this schedule is maintained, Trump’s trial will be held in the middle of the 2024 election race for the White House and in the midst of several Republican election debates.

The hearing is a setback for Trump and his legal team, who wanted to delay the trial until after the November 2024 presidential election.

This year, the former president of the United States appeared for the second time in a court session in Miami to be tried on 37 charges related to keeping confidential documents of the United States, but this time he declared his innocence.
