There have been more fatal mass shootings in the US this year than in 2022

Pak Sahafat – Official statistics show that the number of deadly mass shootings that have occurred in the United States since the beginning of this year has increased compared to the same period last year (2022).

According to the report of Pak Sahafat News Agency from Sputnik, the non-profit organization known as the Gun Violence Archive (GVA) announced that since the beginning of 2023, at least 128 mass shootings have occurred in different states of the United States.

These 128 shooting cases show an increase compared to the same period last year (2022), while only 89 days have passed since the beginning of this year.

This statistic does not include individual shootings or those with only one fatality.

Mass shootings such as those in Buffalo, New York and Uvalde, Texas have fueled calls for stricter gun laws.

In the latest case of mass shootings, yesterday, six people, including three students, died in a shooting at a school in Nashville, Tennessee.
