The Zionist regime destroyed an under construction mosque

Zionist militants stormed an under construction mosque in the south of the West Bank on Wednesday morning.

Israeli military vehicles surrounded the Umm Qesha area east of the town of Yata, south of Hebron, on Wednesday morning and destroyed a 140-square-meter mosque under construction.

An eyewitness said the Zionists also destroyed a water well used by a school near the mosque.

According to the Anatolian News Agency, the Zionists had issued a warning to the residents of the area a few days ago about the demolition of the mosque on the pretext that it did not have a construction permit.

The mosque is located in an area named “Area C” under the 1995 Oslo Accords, and the occupying regime is barring any construction in the area.

On the other hand, the Zionist army attacked the town of Hezma in the northeast of occupied Jerusalem and clashed with its inhabitants.

According to the report, Zionist militants fired bullets, tear gas and sound bombs at Palestinian homes.
