The World Union of Muslim Scholars called for a widespread boycott of the Zionist regime

The International Union of Muslim Scholars issued a statement calling for a comprehensive boycott of the Zionist regime until it withdraws from all occupied territories.

The World Union of Muslim Scholars on Sunday issued a statement calling for a comprehensive boycott of the Zionist regime until it withdraws from all occupied territories.

According to the Daily Sabah newspaper, the statement reads: “We call for a boycott of Israel, which is currently occupying Al-Aqsa Mosque, attacking our brothers and sisters in the Golan Heights in Syria and Palestine, and destroying their lands and homes.”

The statement said in part that resistance to the occupiers through legal means and the expulsion of the occupiers is a moral obligation in Islam and is recognized by international law as well as UN resolutions.

The statement said: “Those who buy or market the goods of the Zionist occupiers are found guilty and are involved in this crime. Therefore, we call on all Muslims to impose a comprehensive economic embargo on Israel until the regime withdraws from all occupied territories.”

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco recently normalized their relations with the occupying regime in Jerusalem in 2020 in the interests of the United States and the Zionist regime.

The European Court of Human Rights recently ruled in favor of 12 activists of the Zionist regime’s sanctions movement. The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ruled that France’s Supreme Court of Appeal ruled in favor of the Israeli embargo activists, violating their freedom of expression.

In 2015, the court convicted twelve pro-Palestinian activists and activists on the grounds of “anti-Semitism” and “racism.”
