Pak Sahafat – An April 2021 email from a Facebook employee sent to Zuckerberg refers to the platform as having faced “continuous pressure from outside stakeholders, including the White House” to remove “discouraging” content about the coronavirus vaccine.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, confidential documents have recently been leaked by one of the members of the American parliament, which show that the White House manipulates the Facebook content of the social media company Meta according to its requirements and interests.
In a series of tweets, U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan from Ohio revealed that the Biden administration pressured Facebook to censor conservative comments. Based on this, under direct pressure from Joe Biden, Meta removed the accounts of “dozens of false information” people on Facebook and many of its pages and accounts on Instagram.
He made this disclosure by referring to documents called “Facebook files” that have not been published so far and were raised in the subpoena of the Judiciary Committee of the US House of Representatives. These and other documents recently presented to the committee prove that Biden abused his authority to force Facebook to censor Americans and impeded free speech.
According to Jordan, they were provided to the committee by Facebook only after the committee announced its intention to question Mark Zuckerberg.

The House Judiciary Committee had scheduled a hearing for Thursday to decide whether to hold Zuckerberg in contempt of Congress, arguing that the billionaire Meta CEO willfully refused to comply with a subpoena sent by the committee in February.
Jordan went on to tweet that Facebook and Instagram, with censorship, changed their content moderation policies as a result of “unlawful pressure” from the Biden administration.
He stated that Meta was under the pressure of Joe Biden, the President of the United States, who in July 2021 identified social media such as Facebook as a factor in disseminating false information about the Covid vaccine and, as a result, killing people. Similarly, less than a month ago, the company asked its product policy teams to change and become more aggressive some policies to deal with Covid and vaccine misinformation.
Jordan also released an email that same month from Andy Slavitt, a former senior adviser to Biden, to Nick Clegg, Facebook’s head of global affairs, In it, he was outraged that Facebook had not removed a meme titled “Have you or a loved one received the Covid vaccine? You may be entitled to…”
Facebook executives apparently responded to the request, suggesting the company reevaluate its relationship with the White House, according to the documents.
In the end, Jordan cited Facebook’s cooperation as the reason for the suspension of the committee’s investigation and noted that if the company does not adhere to its commitment to fully cooperate with the committee’s investigation, it will be questioned again.
