The United Nations called for the implementation of all provisions of the Yemeni ceasefire

Pak Sahafat – In light of the continuing violation of the ceasefire in Yemen by the Saudi aggression coalition, the United Nations has called on all parties concerned to implement all provisions of the ceasefire.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, quoting Sputnik news agency, UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg once again called on all parties to implement all provisions of the ceasefire between the Yemeni National Salvation Government and the aggressor Saudi coalition and their internal allies in Yemen.

After visiting the southern Yemeni city of Aden, Grundberg said he met with Rashad al-Amimi, chairman and Tariq Saleh, the so-called vice-chairman of the presidency, and Moin Abdul Malik, prime minister of Yemen, who are puppets and supporters of the Saudi aggression coalition.

He called on “all parties to take steps to implement all components of the ceasefire while reducing the impact of the war on civilians and facilitating freedom of movement and movement of persons and goods.”

Grundberg also called for constructive efforts and adherence to all provisions of the ceasefire to wish for human suffering in Yemen.

The UN special envoy for Yemen on Wednesday last week also expressed concern over ceasefire violations in the country, stressing that the parties are responsible for enforcing the ceasefire.

The aggressor coalition of Saudi Arabia and the government of national salvation reached a ceasefire agreement in Sanaa more than a month ago, which was implemented from the beginning of last April.

Declaration of ceasefire and commitment of the aggressors again in the Yemeni war

Hezam al-Assad, a member of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement’s political council, told IRNA on Thursday that the Saudi aggression coalition had not yet adhered to the ceasefire and had repeatedly violated it.

He said: Unfortunately, the aggressors’ coalition did not adhere to the ceasefire declaration, and the military violation of the ceasefire and the closure of Sanaa airport and the prevention of ships carrying oil derivatives to the port of Al-Hudaidah continue.

Al-Assad said: The aggressor coalition sees the ceasefire as part of its military tactic of invading Yemen and is now trying to defeat it.

Al-Assad also warned the aggressors about the failure of the ceasefire, stressing that the aggressor countries are responsible for the consequences of the ceasefire failure, and that the consequences will extend to the depths of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Al-Assad stating that the establishment of the Presidential Council in the city of Aden is a matter for the United States and Saudi Arabia and has nothing to do with the Yemeni people, said: The formation of an institution such as the Presidential Council is a step by Washington and Riyadh to rebuild its militant organization to begin a new era of military action in Yemen.

He emphasized: After the end of the aggression and the lifting of the siege of the Yemeni people, it is possible to negotiate with the other side, and we always welcome a just and honorable peace that will ensure the dignity and independence of the Yemeni people.

On April 26, 1994, Saudi Arabia launched a large-scale offensive against Yemen, the poorest Arab country, in the form of a coalition of several Arab countries, including the UAE, with the help and green light of the United States and the support of the Zionist regime. Contrary to the Saudis’ expectations, their attacks hit the stronghold of the Yemeni people’s resistance, and after seven years of stability and painful Yemeni strikes deep into Saudi territory, especially the Aramco facility, Riyadh was forced to accept a ceasefire in hopes of exiting the Yemeni war.
