The UN official called for the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan with the participation of women

Pak Sahafat – Amina Mohammad, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, called for the formation of a government with the participation of women in Afghanistan.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report, in a special interview with TOLOnews, Mohammad added that if some conditions are met, including the formation of a government with the participation of all members of the society in Afghanistan, the United Nations would interact with the head of this country.

The Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations noted: “The participation of all people means that women also participate in the formation of the government in this country.”

This high-ranking official of the United Nations believes that until now the caretaker government of Afghanistan has not adapted to the standards of the international community.

Mohammad believes that this work will provide the basis for increasing the interaction of the United Nations with the caretaker government of Afghanistan.

He told TOLO news: If you are a member of a family, there are some principles, values and agreements for coexistence, and the family of the international community also has norms and standards that today’s Afghanistan is not compatible with. We need to have a conversation about the fact that you cannot exclude women from participating in their country.

A delegation from the United Nations, led by Mohammad, the deputy secretary general of this organization, during its four-day trip to Afghanistan, discussed with the senior officials of the caretaker government of this country regarding women’s work and education.
