The Palestinian Authority has called on the US President to reopen his consulate in East Jerusalem and the office of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Washington.
According to Pak Sahafat news agency, quoting Russia Today news network, the Palestinian Central Council said in a statement, We call on the US government to act on its commitment to a two-state solution, to halt settlements, to end the policy of deportation and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the Quds neighborhood, to preserve the historic status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to stop Israeli aggression.
The council also called for the reopening of the US consulate in East Jerusalem and the office of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The Palestinian Authority has called on US President Joe Biden to live up to his commitments and not link them to Israel.
The Palestinian Central Council also announced its decision to end all PLO commitments in all agreements with the Zionist regime, including suspending the recognition of Israel until the recognition of Palestine within the borders of the East Jerusalem capital on June 4, 1967, and the cessation of settlements.

He also announced the suspension of security coordination with Israel and called for the clarification of the process of transferring principles from the stage of self-government to the stage of a sovereign state.
The council stressed the right of the Palestinian people to resist Israel and to fully support the popular resistance and to meet its needs in the face of the aggression of the settlers.
On the future of the Palestinian Authority and the elections, the council called on Hamas not to obstruct legislative and presidential elections in the Gaza Strip.
The council called for continued cooperation to form a national unity government, and instructed the executive committee to restructure the Palestinian Authority, which is in line with the principles of consolidating Palestinian sovereignty.
