The Netherlands sent a 60-member team to Ukraine to investigate war crimes

Pak Sahafat – The Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands announced that it has sent a 60-member team consisting of experts from the Netherlands and the Czech Republic to Ukraine to investigate the commission of war crimes.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing Sputnik, the ministry said in a statement on Friday that 9 of these experts are from the Czech Republic and the rest are Dutch experts.

This is the third time that Dutch experts go to Ukraine to investigate possible war crimes and their responsibility is to collect evidence in this field.

In March 2022, the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court also started an investigation into the commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Ukraine.

Reuters reported on Wednesday that Ukraine is working with the FBI and US companies to gather evidence of war crimes committed by the Russians.

FBI special agent Alex Kobzanets, who previously worked as the agency’s envoy to Ukraine, said: This work includes the examination of cell phone information, medical analysis of DNA samples, as well as examination of body parts collected from the battlefield.

He also revealed that the FBI has helped Ukraine in the past year and a half to identify Russian operatives and spies operating in Ukraine and Russian forces operating outside Kiev during the war.

The Russian authorities have denied the commission of any war crimes and announced that the military actions of the Ukrainian army against the people of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics should be investigated.

Last November, the Russian Ministry of Defense accused Kiev of committing war crimes and declared that the West is indifferent to the crimes of Ukraine.
