The latest report of the dead and injured in the Morocco earthquake

Pak Sahafat – The Ministry of Interior of the Morocco announced in the latest earthquake statistics that the death toll from the 7.2-magnitude earthquake in this country has reached 2,946.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, citing the Moroccan media, the number of injured in this severe earthquake has also increased to 5,674 people.

Rescue teams are still removing debris, rescuing and searching under the debris and assessing the damage.

At midnight on Friday, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Morocco, which is the largest earthquake in this country in the last century.

The Court of the Kingdom of Morocco announced on Saturday night the announcement of three days of public mourning in this country due to the 7.2 magnitude earthquake.

Nasser Jabbour, head of Moroccan Geophysics Institute, said on Saturday night that after the 7.2-magnitude earthquake in this country, 6 large aftershocks were also recorded in this region.

Speaking to Al Jazeera, Jabbour clarified: So the aftershocks that occurred directly after the main earthquake were stronger.
