The founder of Twitter supported the lifting of Trump’s ban

Pak Sahafat – Jack Dorsey, the founder of the social media Twitter, announced that he agrees with the new owner of the company, Elon Musk, to revive the account of former US President Donald Trump.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from “Axius”, Dorsey called the ban a “business decision” on Tuesday night, and Mask argued that permanent bans were inappropriate in cases not related to illegal activity or fraudulent accounts.

Dorsey said in a message: I agree. For permanent deprivations, there are cases such as illegal activity, fake accounts or network abuse, but in general, permanent deprivations are a failure and not effective.

New owner of Twitter social media, Musk, has announced that he will allow former US President Trump to return to Twitter.

“At a conference on the future of the automotive industry,” Musk said: Permanent bans on Twitter should be very rare and apply to accounts that are bots or fraudulent and fake.

He added: I think banning Donald Trump from accessing Twitter was not the right thing to do, and it was a mistake, because it alienated a large part of the United States from Twitter, and ultimately did not silence Trump. I abolish permanent deprivation.

Meanwhile, the former US president announced last month that he would not return to twitter even if Mask agreed.

Last month, news of a deal between Mask and Twitter to sell the company to the American billionaire for $ 44 billion made headlines in the media.

Twitter, Facebook and YouTube blocked his accounts in January 2021, shortly before the end of Trump’s presidency. The main reason for this was the attack of Trump supporters on the US Congress building on January 6, 2021. Of course, Trump’s sympathy for the attackers on Congress has not been ineffective in this regard.

Trump claimed at the time that he had won the US presidential election and inflamed the US political climate by claiming election fraud.

Twitter is Trump’s largest information and communication service, with more than 80 million followers. He has been protesting against the blocking of his Twitter account for a long time and is fighting for it.

With the news of Mask buying Twitter, there were speculations that Trump would return to twitter, but he said in an interview with CNBC on Monday (May 25): “I was disappointed with Twitter’s treatment.” I will not go back to Twitter.
