The dark history of the Saudi aggressor coalition in attacking on civilians in Yemen

The humanitarian situation in Yemen will continue to deteriorate as long as the war continues.

Pak Sahafat News Agency – The escalation of the war against Yemen has exacerbated the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.

According to Al Jazeera, While Joe Biden’s arrival in the White House in 2021 revived hopes of easing the Yemeni crisis following a change in US foreign policy, a year after Biden’s presidency showed that war and violence in Yemen are on the rise.

What is clear is that in the past year, the lives of civilians have been neglected more than ever, and they are paying the highest cost for the continuation of this crisis.

At least 80 people have been killed in a Saudi coalition airstrike on a prison in northern Yemen in late January.

Médecins Sans Frontières has sounded the alarm about new waves of IDPs as the number of victims in Yemen increases.

There are serious concerns about the consequences of Washington’s move to put Yemen’s Ansarullah back on the list of terrorist groups; this, in turn, exacerbates the humanitarian catastrophe and violence in Yemen.

Analysts believe that the continuation of this trend is likely to lead to a worsening of the world’s humanitarian catastrophe, according to the United Nations; because if the war does not end, there is no reason for progress in the humanitarian sector.

Multiple military strikes on airports, detention centers, telecommunications infrastructure, hospitals, schools and water facilities have made the UN Special Representative for Yemen and Coordinator of Humanitarian Aid January 2022 the deadliest month in Yemen since the nearly seven-year war against the country.

The Saudi coalition has a dark history of attacks that have killed and injured thousands of civilians in Yemen.

This raises concerns about the end of civilian casualties, possibly making this year the deadliest year of the war against Yemen since its inception.
