The American media portrays the Russian armed forces as evil

The Moscow embassy in Washington called the Western media’s approach to accusing the Russian military of committing crimes in Ukraine a psychological operation to discredit Russian forces.

According to the Pak Sahafat news agency, quoting the dice, the Russian embassy in Washington has accused the US media of spreading Russian genocide in Ukraine as part of a campaign to demonize Russia’s armed forces.

The embassy said in a statement: A report by the New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy, which was published in the US mass media and accused Russia of inciting genocide in Ukraine, did not go unnoticed. The sting and sarcasm used against Russia are elements of the West’s campaign to demonize Russia’s armed forces.

The Russian Embassy in the United States also stressed: The situation there is completely opposite to what is claimed. Humanitarian aid is being developed and expanded in areas of Ukraine controlled by the Russian armed forces.

Anti-Russian propaganda and accusations against Russian forces in Ukraine are part of the Western psychological warfare that is at the heart of hybrid warfare.

Earlier, Moscow’s ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, said in Western media propaganda against Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine that, a limited number of American media outlets have begun to publish more or less objective and impartial views on the situation in Ukraine, calling it a small improvement, but emphasizing that the rhetoric of most US domestic media outlets is still anti-Russian.

The recent case of accusations of genocide by Russia in Ukraine confirms Antonov’s earlier statements.

Russia launched a military operation on February 24 (last year) to demilitarize and demilitarize Ukraine. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the operation is aimed at “supporting those who have been persecuted and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.”
