Survey results: Satisfaction with Biden performance has decreased

Pak Sahafat – A new US poll shows that 47% of Americans consider their economy to be very weak, and as the Ukraine war continues and inflation in the United States continues, satisfaction with President Joe Biden‘s performance has declined.

According to Pak Sahafat News agency, a new CNBC poll shows that 47 percent of people say the economy is very weak, while another 57 percent say the United States will face a recession next year.

As the war in Ukraine continues and inflation in the United States continues, the percentage of approval of US President Biden’s performance in the latest CNBC poll has dropped, according to News Max.

38% of Americans approve of Biden’s performance and 53% do not approve of him.

Also in the field of economics, 38% of Americans approve of Biden’s performance and 60% do not approve of his economic policies.

Jay Campbell, who conducted the survey, says Biden’s biggest problem is that inflation affects everyone, regardless of political affiliation.

He continued: “The cost of living has affected all issues, including the corona.” Inflation is now a major issue for Democrats, Republicans and independents alike.

The poll also shows that the highest percentage of Americans since 2012, 47 percent, believe that the US economy is very weak, and 17 percent believe that the US economy is good.

Meanwhile, only 20 percent of Americans say their financial situation is improving. This is the lowest rate in the last eight years.

CNN, along with Democrat Joe Biden’s Democratic Government, released a report on Thursday evening in a four-point poll on Biden’s popularity and performance, showing that only 39 percent of Americans approve of his performance.

These figures do not differ much from the March average, which showed Biden 40% approval and 54% disapproval.

In a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday, conditions are not good for Biden either. Only 33% of Americans and 35% of registered voters approve of his performance.

On the other hand, the percentage of people who fully approve of Biden’s performance as president is 18%, while more than double this number, ie 43% of people who are strongly dissatisfied with this performance.

469 seats in the US Congress (including 34 out of 100 Senate seats and all 435 seats in the House of Representatives) will be voted in for the November 8, 2022 election.

Republicans must win only five seats in the House of Representatives and one seat in the Senate to win a majority in both houses. This means that if Democrats want to maintain control of Congress this year, they have no chance of making a mistake.

With 221 of the 435 seats in the House of Representatives, the Democrats now have a majority in the House; but with just two less seats in the Senate, they hold 48 of the 100 seats in the House, and Republicans have 50 seats in the Senate, so even one vote in the Senate is crucial.

In the 2022 election, 14 Democrats and 30 Republicans are set to vote in the midterm Senate race.

The composition and seats to be voted on in this election are important because they can influence the majority of these two major US parties in Congress.

In addition, some current members of Congress have no plans to run again, with 29 members of Congress, including five members of the Senate and 24 members of the US House of Representatives, declaring that they will not run for re-election by October 2021.

Seventeen members, including five senators and 12 deputies, have announced their retirement. All five retired members of the Senate are Republicans from North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Alabama and Missouri, and eight retired members of the House of Representatives are Democrats and four are Republicans.

Twelve members of the US House of Representatives are running for office. Four Republicans and three Democrats are running for the U.S. Senate, one Republican and one Democrat are running for governor, one Republican is running for secretary of state, one is running for mayor, and one is running for state attorney general.

None of the members of the US Senate will run for office.
