Speculation about 2024 candidates: Democrats are worried

Pak Sahafat – Hill American website wrote: The release of a list of possible candidates for the 2024 presidential election, with three years to go, has raised concerns among the Democratic Party.

According to Pak Sahafat news agency on Sunday: Hill’s website mockingly read some of the nominees: Last week, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman announced the addition of anti-Republican Donald Elizabeth Cheney to Biden’s list of rival candidates for 2024.

Douglas Sean and Andrew Stein, writers of The Wall Street Journal, also spoke about the possibility of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton running for a third term.

Some sources have suggested that Kristen Cinema, a Democratic senator from Arizona, may be on the Democratic nominee list.

This is despite some serious debate in Democrat circles; especially if Biden does not intend to run in the next round.

Is Biden Vice President Kamala Harris eligible to run for office? Is a figure like Senator Elizabeth Warren, who has more leftist leanings, a better choice? Are people like Transport Minister Pete Bottage and Sen. Amy Kalbchar, who are more in line with moderate policies, more acceptable candidates?

Blurring the line between reality and fantasy is a concept that many Democrats have long thought of: Michelle Obama. The former first lady of the United States can be a powerful contender, but she has repeatedly made it clear that she is reluctant to run for office.

Although Kamala Harris in an interview with NBC News called the issue of Democratic candidates in the 2024 elections a rumor, but until Biden solves the problems, these rumors are fueled.

Inflation in the United States has reached its highest level in 40 years. The Corona epidemic has resurfaced, and the White House’s efforts to pass Biden’s suffrage and economic plan have so far been unsuccessful.

A Quinnipiac poll this week found Biden 33 percent popular. A FireTV poll found Biden averaging 42.2 percent on Friday.

But there are also issues with Biden’s age and physical strength. If Biden wins the election again, he will be 82 years old at his second inauguration.

Some Democrats say their concerns are deeper, though they see the problems because of the circumstances rather than Biden’s failure in his plans.

If Biden does not want to run in the 2024 election, he will be the first incumbent president since Lyndon Johnson’s presidency in 1968 to run in the second round.

In better circumstances, Kamala Harris is Biden’s obvious successor, but some of his mistakes in interviewing the media, publishing reports about the dismissal of some of his staff, lack of tangible progress on immigration issues and voting rights have made him feel that he has performed poorly.

If Kamala Harris does not stand a chance of succeeding Biden due to poor performance, Democrats will face a painful choice: Choose a candidate they strongly doubt or allow someone else to run for president instead of the first black woman candidate.

Strategic science expert Joe Tripi, who has worked with Democratic presidential campaigns over the past few decades, argues that the fate of the upcoming election will be more influenced by a more fundamental process than by the identity of the Democratic Party.

The strategist noted that some issues, especially the corona epidemic and inflation, will probably be addressed before the 2024 elections.

However, Tripi described Hillary Clinton’s candidacy in the 2024 elections as stupid and said: If inflation continues to rise, Democrats will face the challenge of who to nominate. In such a scenario, people will ask, but is it possible for Hillary Clinton to run? No this would be silly.

Democrats are also worried about the return of former Republican President Donald Trump, who also addressed a rally in Arizona this week. If Trump runs again, Democrats will see his defeat as a vital necessity for the country.

There are three years left until the election, but the possibilities and risks have so far raised concerns among Democrats.
