Saudi Arabia condemned the action of the Zionists to build settlement units

Pak Sahafat – In a statement on Saturday night, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Zionist regime’s move to build more than 8,000 residential units in occupied Palestine.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from the official news agency of Saudi Arabia (WAS); in the continuation of this statement, this action is a clear violation of international laws by the authorities of the Zionist regime.

The government of Riyadh asked the international community to act responsibly and stop the occupation of the Zionist regime and its provocative actions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia announced that such actions are an obstacle to the political solution of the Palestinian crisis, which is based on the Arab peace initiative, and such actions weaken the efforts of the international community to establish peace.

Contrary to the statement of Sharm el-Sheikh, which promised to stop any settlement activities for many of us, the Zionist government started bidding for the construction of 1, 29 settlement units in the occupied West Bank and Quds.

The actions of the Israeli regime are at a time when the United Nations Security Council issued an official statement on February 20, 2023 / March 1, 1401, condemning the Zionist regime’s plan to expand settlements in the occupied Palestinian lands; An action that took place after 6 years from the last resolution of this council, and America also appeared in the role of opposing its long-time ally.

The last time, in December 2016, the administration of then US President Barack Obama vetoed a Security Council resolution that called on Israel to halt settlement construction.
