Saudi $ 1.5 billion facility to sell oil to Pakistan

“Waqar Massoud, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Revenue and Finance, told a joint press conference with Saudi Energy Minister Hamad Azhar: It borrows  1.5 billion a year from Saudi Arabia and repays it later.

He declined to comment further on the details of the oil facility and the reasons for the reduction of the $ 3 billion deal reached three years ago.

According to him, this agreement has not been possible due to the gap in bilateral relations between the two countries.
