Sana’a: The United Nations should press for the full reopening of the airport

Pak Sahafat – The director of Sana’a International Airport considered the UN’s role towards the Yemeni nation to be negative and said that this international organization should press for the full reopening of this airport.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency, “Khaled Al-Sharif”, the director of Sana’a International Airport, said in an interview with Al-Masirah that the intruders are preventing the booking of tickets for Sana’a airport passengers.

He called for the intervention of the United Nations to fully reopen Sana’a International Airport and added: The United Nations has played a negative role towards the Yemeni nation since the beginning of the Yemeni war.

Al-Sharif noted: Thousands of sick citizens urgently need to travel and are now wandering in Jordan and some other countries in the region; because they could not book a return ticket.

He emphasized that three flights a week do not meet the needs of Yemeni citizens and there is a real tragedy for patients who need to travel for treatment.

For more than eight years, Yemen has been witnessing a continuous war between the armed forces and the Yemeni People’s Committees and the coalition forces, the consequences of which have been reflected in various dimensions and according to the United Nations report, it has become the worst humanitarian crisis in the world.
