Pak Sahafat – Russian Ambassador to America Anatoly Antonov said that the US government is not looking for a diplomatic solution to the conflict in Ukraine and continues to send weapons to Kyiv.
According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Tass, on Friday, in response to the new package of US military aid of 2.1 billion dollars to Ukraine, Antonov added: The United States continues to provide its aid and supply lethal weapons to Ukraine.
He continued: The allocation of significant financial resources to help Kiev shows that Washington does not intend to look for ways to resolve the conflict diplomatically.
According to Antonov, American officials are not worried about burning billions of tax dollars in the furnace of war.
He continued: This money disappears in the black hole of corruption, smuggling and fraud schemes of Kyiv. It is becoming increasingly difficult for the United States to silence these unsavory phenomena.
The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced on Friday that it has allocated a new military package worth 2.1 billion dollars, including air defense capabilities and vital ammunition for the military forces of Kiev.
The Pentagon announced in a statement: This package includes additional ammunition for Patriot air defense systems, Raytheon air defense systems and missiles, 105 mm and 203 mm artillery shells, Puma drone systems, laser guided missile system ammunition and support, training and maintenance.
The funds will be used to purchase weapons under the Ukraine Security Assistance Program, allowing the Joe Biden administration to purchase weapons from other companies rather than from its own stockpiles. The delivery of weapons depends on their availability and production time.
