According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s report from Daily Beast, in an interview with Republican-supporting Fox News host Sean Hannity about America’s role in the Ukraine-Russia war, Kennedy said that Washington had pushed Kiev towards war.

He, who previously blamed the United States for the current situation, answered the question of whether he trusts Russian President Vladimir Putin. He answered in the negative. He said: Do I trust Putin? No

Then the host of the Fox network asked: Did we lead them to war or did Putin attack? Well, let me answer your question, Kennedy explained in response. Putin withdrew his forces from Ukraine in good faith. What happened? We sent Boris Johnson over there to destroy it completely because we don’t want peace. We want war with Russia.

Former British Prime Minister Johnson went to Kiev in early February 2022 to negotiate with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, just a few weeks before the start of the war. Johnson noted at the time that more than 100,000 Russian troops were stationed on the border with Ukraine and warned Putin that London would be armed with sanctions the moment the first Russian fingertip crossed the border with Ukraine.

The Democratic candidate also accused the US of sabotaging the 2014 and 2015 Minsk accords aimed at ending the Donbas war between Russian separatists and Ukrainian armed forces.

Henty asked Kennedy why he blames America for these issues. He also replied that the expansion of NATO after the fall of the Soviet Union was an example that the US deliberately created conditions that eventually led to war.

Kennedy, whose candidacy has been praised by many on the right such as Tucker Carlson, Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, Michael Flynn and Charlie Kirk, also rejected the idea that Russia would lose the war with Ukraine.

He said: It will be like if we lose the war with Mexico. They (Russia) will not lose the war.
