Release of a Palestinian prisoner after 15 years in a Zionist prison

Pak Sahafat – The Zionist regime released a Palestinian prisoner on Monday night after 15 years in prison.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency from Palestine Al-Youm news website, “Ramzi Mohammad” was released after enduring 15 years of captivity in Israeli prisons.

According to the report, dozens of residents of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip welcomed the free Palestinian captive.

Hundreds of people in the Gaza Strip are being held in Israeli prisons, some of whom have been sentenced to life in prison.

It should be noted that by the end of January, the number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons was 4,500, of whom 34 were women and 180 were children.

Palestinian prisoners also went on hunger strike more than 400 times from 2011 to the end of last year (2021).

Palestinian legal institutions estimate that about 600 Palestinian prisoners are ill, four of whom have cancer.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has always called for international support for the oppressed Palestinian people and called on the International Criminal Court to launch an investigation into the crimes of the Zionist regime as soon as possible.
